Cookie Policy

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let the site remember your actions and preferences over time. We also use related technologies such as local storage, which work in a similar way; references to “cookies” in this policy include them.

2. The types we use

Essential cookies

These are needed for the website to work — remembering what is in your basket, keeping you signed in while you shop, processing checkout securely and applying your cookie choices. These cannot be switched off through the consent banner, because the site cannot function without them.

Preference cookies

These remember choices you have made, such as display or language preferences, so that they persist on your next visit. They are only set if you allow them.

Measurement and analytics cookies

These help us understand how the website is used — which pages are viewed, how visitors move through the site, and where problems occur — so that we can improve it. Information collected this way is used in aggregate. They are only set if you allow them.

Marketing cookies

Where they are used at all, these would allow advertising to be shown to people who have visited the site. They are set only with your consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.

3. Managing your choices

When you first visit the website, a banner lets you accept all cookies, keep only essential ones, or set your preferences by category. You can change your mind at any time by reopening the cookie banner or clearing cookies in your browser.

Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies through their settings. Blocking essential cookies will affect how the shop works — the basket and checkout may not function correctly.

4. Cookies set by others

Some cookies may be set by services that appear on our pages, such as payment providers at checkout or a measurement service. Those providers have their own privacy and cookie policies, and we do not control their cookies. Where we rely on a provider, we choose suppliers who handle information appropriately.

5. More information

How we handle personal information generally, including how long we keep it and your rights under the EU GDPR, is set out in our Privacy Policy.

6. Contact

7. Changes

We may update this policy when the cookies we use change. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised.
